This is so heartbreaking watching the moment as people in Ukraine use underground subway stations as bomb shelter: Watch short video: Below
It will interest you to know that, Ukraine's capital city of Kiev is home to a subway system with over 100 stations. One of these stations, Arsenalna, is located 105 meters below the surface and is the deepest metro station in the world. The station was built in 1975 as a part of the initial construction of Kiev's subway system.
Today most of the underground substations are being used as shelter as Russia military continue to bomb Ukraine, killing innocent people and displaying thousands to millions people, forcing people to scamp for safety
In Kiev, Ukraine there is a subway station that is unlike any other in the world. Unlike most subway stations which are dark and dreary, this station is brightly lit and decorated with elaborate mosaics. The walls are covered with scenes from Ukrainian folklore, including images of Cossacks and maidens. The station also features a large mural of Saint Vladimir, the patron saint of Kiev.
The subway station are unique and it is located in the city's historic district now used as bomb shelter across Ukraine #PrayforUkraine
