A few months ago during the Miss South Africa pageant, Chidimma Adetshina was rejected by South Africans SA her birth country for bearing the name Chidimma.
As the trend was going on, Nigeria being the native country of her biological father invited her over, welcomed her, and allowed her to contest for the Miss Universe Nigeria, she contested and won the grand prize also to represent Nigeria at the world Miss Universe.
Last night's unfolding event at the World Miss Universe was epic, Nigeria’s representative, Chidimma Adetshina, rejected one by South Africans. Finished as the first runner-up at the 73rd Miss Universe Competition held in Mexico.
The competition, described as one of the most thrilling in recent years, the world came unified, celebrating the talents, beauty, intelligence, and elegance of women from around the world.
In a post via Instagram, the organizers said, “The final two! Miss Universe Nigeria and Miss Universe Denmark, two incredible women, one unforgettable moment.” Came to an end as Miss Universe Denmark ultimately won the crown, Adetshina’s exceptional performance and grace earned her widespread admiration from judges, audiences and viewers all over the world as congratulations reigns after Chidimma Adetshina, the Miss Universe Nigeria, emerged as the 1st Runner-Up at Miss Universe 2024.
Most Africans have taken to the social media platform such as Tiktok, Twitter X, Facebook and Instagram to send congratulatory message to her, accounting how she made them all proud, while some call her a born star!
