In the past two years, Russia has been in the news for all the wrong reasons. The economy is in shambles, Putin's approval rating is in decline, and Russia is increasingly isolated from the international community. So what went wrong?
1. Russia is a country with a rich history and culture.
2. Since the collapse of the Soviet Union, Russia has been ruled by Vladimir Putin.
3. Putin has been a controversial leader, with many accusing him of human rights abuses and corruption.
4. In recent years, Russia has suffered from an economic recession, caused in part by sanctions imposed by the West in response to Putin's policies.
5. The economy has weakened, and inflation is high.
6. The Russian ruble has plummeted against the U.S. dollar since 2014, making it more difficult for people to buy imported goods such as food and medicine.
7. __________ in Moscow has been the scene of numerous protests in recent years.
8. In 2014, as many as 10,000 people protested against Putin's reelection.
9. __________ has seen a rise in anti-Putin sentiment since the 2014 protests.
10. __________ has been the target of a number of deadly attacks in recent years, including the 2015 bombing of a trolleybus and the 2016 metro bombing.
11. In February 2022 Putin invaded Ukraine leading to an ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine
Since the early 2000s, Vladimir Putin has been the face of Russia. He has been both revered and despised by his people and the international community. Some believe he has brought Russia back to its former glory, while others feel he has led the country into an era of corruption, aggressive and economic strife. No matter what side of the argument you may be on, one thing is for sure: Putin has failed his people and The Fail Of Putin is near
The ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine incented by Putin is a big challenge for the world in two ways
1: How Can The World Avoid Escalating The war in Ukraine?
2: How Can The World Make Vladimir Putin fail? and best pay for this
So let's get started with The war in Ukraine being a catastrophe to mostly, the innocent people of Ukraine, but don’t think it couldn’t get worse, it may get worse as days proceed
Even a nuclear war, war is possible as Putin publicly raised that possibility on Thursday 25th February 2022, when he noted that Russia is ready for war and "remains one of the most powerful nuclear states
Across the United States Of America, people have started protesting, asking U.S and NATO nations to act now and save Ukraine from failing, and making sure Putin pay heavily for the Ukraine invasion
Also on social media, I see people calling on the U.S Government to adopt a tougher posture and, for example, to impose a no-fly zone over Ukraine.
A call-out we believe that President Biden is right to resist that suggestion or any other that would risk contact between U.S. and Russian military forces clashing, in his voice, The U.S A mustn’t risk a Russian-American war, we don't need such as war is never the best approach
Again President Joe Biden has also been sensibly restrained about cyberattacks on Russia and Putin troops. in his words, we can't get into open cyber warfare between the U.S. and Russia, Russia has the advantage of many more targets
American banks, dams, electrical grids, traffic lights, hospitals, and other institutions have far more presence online than equivalent Russian institutions, so its best that we avoid such
So while I was not a fan of the President Joe Biden administration’s, or any other government in the world, including that of Putin invading Ukraine
So far so good, I think the president of the U.S has done a good job with Ukraine — releasing intelligence to limit Putin’s room to maneuver, cultivating allies to impose sanctions, and reinforcing NATO, all while careful to avoid the risk of escalation the situation, or more leading to the long-awaited World war 3
Though multiple reports have it that Putin may intend to escalate the war on his own, pushing both U.S, NATO nations to join and escalate the ongoing war to move across Ukraine and invade the entire Europe nations
Piece by piece Putin may escalate the war to travel far and near globally, he has been reassembling elements of the former Soviet Union, from Belarus to Kazakhstan, but many believe that even if Putin Escalate the war, in near future, any time from now he will surely fail
And now adding Ukraine. Next, maybe Moldova, where Russia already holds a stronghold, an enclave (and which the West did not do enough to support in recent decades. With Belarus, Putin is also in a better position to menace NATO members Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania
Another reason to worry is the fact that Putin has been shown to be surprisingly reckless in Ukraine for years now, more so than he was in the past. That may be because he has surrounded himself with yes-men, or because he has grown over-confident.
He also doesn’t seem to realize that he overreaches in his rhetoric in ways that make him a laughingstock and if care is not taken, his own people may stage against him and bring him, Putin, down
While Putin claims he is “densifying” Ukraine — when its president, Volodymyr Zelensky, is Jewish, with the people of Ukraine standing by to defend their countries, NATO and more world leaders leading hands of help to Ukraine if Ukraine can stand longer, then Putin fail is possible in days from now
But if Putin succeeds in defeating and controlling Ukraine and Moldova, his next step might be to meddle with Estonia in an effort to undermine NATO, while the question remains: While NATO nations stand by and watch all this?
Remember the essence of NATO in Article 5, in which all members agree to go to war to protect any member that is attacked, in other words, if any nation under NATO is attacked all NATO members will go to war, but it has never been entirely clear that members would do this, not now and possibly not when the world understand that war and escalating wars are never the best options
If you have been following my reports and publications for the last few days, you know, I’ve long warned that Putin's game is on and he might engage in very limited intervention in the said Baltics system, is all but games, simply to try to show that Article 5 of the NATO is an empty bluff.
For example, Putin could engineer conflicts between ethnic Estonians and ethnic Russians and then announce he is sending peacekeepers into one small part of Estonia for just a week and then withdraw, while some call it Putin games, no one knows yet if NATO nations may choose to honor the article 5
Would NATO countries really be prepared to go to war, that is another question, or will NATO continue to allow only Ukraine to fight and defend their country? with Russian troops now in Ukraine? And yet if they didn’t, NATO might be left a paper tiger, a toothless bulldog
But should NATO nation wage in and go direct to capture Putin, then, only then the failure of Putin is near and that leads us to our second challenge — making sure that Putin game fails in Ukraine.
While the majority of people around the world believe it's time for Putin to fail, he should fail so publicly and humiliatingly that other dictators will learn from his failure and are deterred, including Xi Jinping as he licks his chops over Taiwan.
Successfully we’re already seeing protests in Russia against Putin and the war, even do that the police in Russia are busy arresting and jailing innocent Russian protestant with the military harshly cracking them down
