The Group of Seven (G7) is a group of seven of the world's most advanced economies. The members are Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the United Kingdom, and the United States. The group meets to discuss global economic issues and to make policy recommendations.

A G7 summit is an annual event that brings together the leaders of seven of the world's largest economies. The first summit was held in 1975. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss economic and security issues and to find ways to cooperate.
